The University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm (HNU) is a business-oriented and internationally focused university of applied sciences. Established in 1994 as a department of the Kempten University of Applied Sciences, it became independent on October 1, 1998. HNU offers bachelor's, master's, and MBA programs in fields such as business, information management, health management, and technology. The university is organized into three faculties: Business and Economics, Information Management, and Health Management, along with a Center for Continuing Education. HNU is located in a modern building on the Wiley campus in Neu-Ulm, with all lecture halls, seminar rooms, offices, and central facilities situated on one campus. The university emphasizes practical experience and maintains close cooperation with regional businesses, providing students with opportunities for internships and projects that enhance their employability. HNU is also a member of MedienCampus Bayern, the umbrella organization for media education and training in Bavaria. In 2012, HNU established the first Lions Club Campus at a German university, aiming to promote social and societal engagement among students. The university library was recognized as the second-best German university library in the 2010 BIX ranking.
