About Protestant University of Applied Sciences Rhineland-Westphalia-Lippe

The Protestant University of Applied Sciences Rhineland-Westphalia-Lippe (EvH RWL) is a state-recognized university located in Bochum, Germany. Established in 1971, it is supported by the Protestant regional churches in the Rhineland, Westphalia, and Lippe. The university offers education in social work, education, health sciences, and diaconia, emphasizing a Christian understanding of human dignity and social justice. With approximately 2,500 students and 80 professors, EvH RWL is the largest Protestant university of applied sciences in Germany. The university maintains partnerships with 26 institutions in 16 countries, providing students with opportunities for international experience. In collaboration with the Catholic University of North Rhine-Westphalia, EvH RWL initiated the 'Transfer Network Social Innovation - s_inn' project to address social challenges through innovative solutions.
