Hagen Correspondence University (Distance Learning University of Hagen), established in 1974, is Germany's only state-funded distance-learning university and the largest in terms of student numbers. It offers flexible degree programs and continuing education options, making higher education accessible to students in various life situations. The university comprises five faculties: Humanities and Social Sciences, Psychology, Mathematics and Computer Science, Economics and Business Administration, and Law.
