The Fachhochschule für Rechtspflege Nordrhein-Westfalen is a state-run university of applied sciences located in Bad Münstereifel, Germany. Established in 1976 as the successor to the Rechtspflegerschule Bad Münstereifel, the university specializes in training civil servants for the higher service in courts and public prosecutors' offices (Rechtspfleger), as well as in judicial administration and corrections. The university comprises two departments: Rechtspflege (Judicial Administration) and Strafvollzug (Corrections). The study program, including practical training, serves as preparatory service for the respective career paths. Students are employed as civil servants on revocation during their studies, and upon passing the career examination, graduates are awarded academic degrees such as Diplom-Rechtspfleger (FH) or Diplom-Verwaltungswirt (FH). The university also conducts justice-specific continuing education programs and further training for positions like Amtsanwalt (public prosecutor) on an inter-state basis since 2007.
