The Fachhochschule für Finanzen des Landes Brandenburg (FHF) in Königs Wusterhausen is a public university of applied sciences specializing in finance. Established on July 1, 1991, by the Ministry of Finance of Brandenburg, the FHF is dedicated to training students for careers in the upper civil service of the tax administration for the states of Brandenburg, Berlin, Saxony-Anhalt, and the Federal Central Tax Office. The university offers a dual study program combining theoretical education at the FHF with practical training in cooperating tax offices. Despite the Bologna Process, the FHF continues to award the traditional Diplom-Finanzwirt (FH) degree upon completion of the program. The campus, known as the Aus- und Fortbildungszentrum Königs Wusterhausen, also hosts the Landesfinanzschule, the Fortbildungszentrum der Finanzverwaltung, the Justizakademie, and the Landesakademie für öffentliche Verwaltung, making it a central hub for public administration education in the region.
